In September, SILABE opens its doors to colleagues from the University who wish to discover the site during two-hour guided tours organized in collaboration with the SPACS (Service for the Promotion of Social Action).
The first visit took place on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The registered staff members of the University were able to explore our unique historical site, rich in history with its Orthodox chapel dating back to World War II, and learn about the different primate species we host, SILABE's missions and challenges, the daily life of our staff, the interest of the primate model in research and the platform’s commitment to an approach focused on respect for animals and their welfare.
The next visits will take place on September 22 and 30, as well as October 8, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
